Vice President of Outreach and Development
Alicia Economos has over 15 years of media, marketing and communications experience. Her tenure includes working for PBS, The Rocky Mountain News, 9NEWS, and Univision Colorado. Most recently, she has served as principal of Vista Communications, a social change communications consulting firm specializing in education and civic engagement projects where she's worked with the Clark County School School District (Las Vegas, NV), Denver Public Schools, Metropolitan State College of Denver, Get Smart Schools, EdNews Parent, various local and national foundations and new charter schools.
Alicia is a proud graduate of Denver Public Schools (Morey and Manual) and is now a proud parent of DPS students, with her two oldest daughters at Montclair Elementary. Their sister will join them in a couple years.
Alicia enjoys serving on the Odyssey School Board, the CSC committee at Valdez Elementary School and in downtime-- music, reading, swimming and traveling.
Alicia received a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Art History from Smith College
