Opportunities with Get Smart Schools Affiliated Schools

Please note:  Get Smart Schools partners with RISE and many of our affiliated schools find their best candidates through this national nonprofit organization that helps match experienced teachers with schools that are closing the acheivement gap for low-income students.  We encourage teachers who are interested in working in GSS schools to also apply to be part of the RISE network. To be eligible for the RISE Network, teachers must have completed at least one full year of full-time classroom teaching in a school that serves low-income students (at least 50% FRPL) and hold a valid teaching credential in the state in which you plan to teach by the start of the upcoming school year (8/31/10).  To learn more, or to apply, please visit the RISE website.
