The Colorado League of Charter Schools The mission of the Colorado League of Charter Schools is to improve student achievement and expand choice among high quality public schools by serving and supporting Colorado's charter schools. The League's mission reflects a commitment to individual charter schools, as well as the overall charter school movement both in Colorado and across the nation. Colorado Department of Education Schools of Choice Office CDE provides technical assistance to charter schools and administers the Colorado Public Charter School Grant Program. CSI is an independent agency within the Department of Education which authorizes charter schools and whose mission is to foster high-quality public school choices. The US Charter Schools Web site is a place where charter school developers, authorizers, and operators can meet, exchange ideas, and access a valuable information. The National Association of Charter School Authorizers NACSA works with local experts to create the conditions needed for quality schools to thrive. They push for high standards for authorizers and the environments in which they work. Project VOYCE taps the raw insights and innovative thinking of students to increase student engagement and student achievement. Project Services include building school chapters, school leadership classes and Professional Development.
