Becky Jobes



Becky Jobes is currently the Director of Academics at High Point Academy. She previously served as High Point’s Rtl Coordinator. Prior to joining the High Point team, Becky worked as a research assistant and instructor University of Northern Colorado from 2006-2010. Becky also worked as the program coordinator at Arts & Sciences Passport Program for the University of Denver from 2004-2007. Becky attended the University of Denver where she earned a BA in Psychology and a BA in Journalism. Becky completed her graduate studies at the University of Northern Colorado earning a MA and a PhD in Educational Psychology. Becky is working to develop High Point High School, an expansion of High Point Academy. High Point High School will provide a rigorous academic program sustained by a nurturing, disciplined, and dynamic learning culture. Research-based instructional strategies will identify and address student needs and individual learning styles. High achievement with respect to both academic and non-academic benchmarks will convey HPHS’ ability to empower and inspire its students to achieve their own personal excellence. HPHS graduates will have the confidence and training to successfully reach and complete their higher education goals. Becky is one of eleven children born/adopted to a rural family and the only child to attend college.
