Erin Mack Trapanese

Erin Mack Trapanese began her teaching career in 2004 in a small town nestled between Texas and Mexico where she taught 7th grade Reading with Teach for America. Upon moving to Denver, Erin served as a facilitator for 3 years at Kunsmiller Middle School where she implemented a tiered reading intervention program that helped over 200 students close the gap toward grade level reading. In the 2009 school year, she worked as both a district Response to Intervention Coordinator and a pilot for the Teacher Effectiveness Coaching Program at West High School. In 2010, Erin began her first assignment as an administrator, serving as an Assistant Principal at West High School where she works today. She holds a M.A. In Secondary Literacy/Reading Teacher Certificate from The University of Colorado in Boulder and received her Administrative Licensure through the Ritchie Fellowship at Denver University in 2009. When she isn't working, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew and their dog Teddy, running distance races, volunteering in her community and and baking sweet treats.
