Naomi Jozovich
Ms. Jozovich has worked has worked for education reform her whole career. A first generation college graduate from rural Oregon Naomi knows full well the value of a strong education. She earned her BA in English Literature from the University of Idaho and her MS in Special Education from City University of New York.
Naomi started her teaching career in the Bronx, New York and over her eight years in education she has taught students in elementary, middle, and high school. Ms. Jozovich also worked on the Teach For America program staff coaching teachers in New York and Hawaii - over the course of her career Naomi has coached over 100 teachers. Most recently she worked as an Assistant Principal at a Denver charter school. Naomi is part of the founding leadership team for Rocky Mountain Prep Charter School (founded by GSS fellow alumni James Cryan), where she serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. She recently finished a one month residency at a Harlem Success Academy school in New York.
