Peter Sherman

He has been working at Valdez since 2007 to develop, implement and grow a Dual-Language and Montessori program. Valdez is becoming a diverse community, which supports positive student culture in an engaging and bilingual environment. Peter is leading the implementation of “Innovation” status – granted in June 2010 – and seeks to better meet student needs through this autonomy.
Prior to working at Valdez, Peter served as Principal at Park Hill ECE-8 School and Assistant Principal at the Jefferson County Open School. Peter also played a role in developing and growing The Odyssey School and has a number of years of teaching experience. Peter received his B.A. from The University of California at Berkeley, his Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of California at Santa Cruz, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University at Mankato and his Principal Licensure from the University of Denver.
