Invest in quality school leadership

GSS Fellows are devoted to creating new, high-performing, autonomous schools. Each fellow is committed to 12 months of rigorous coursework, real-world deliverables, weekly workshops and university courses, executive coaching and residencies. The year-long program culminates in the creation and opening of an autonomous school that will deliver data-driven, research-based, and college-prep education for students.

Developing and designing a high-quality autonomous school is a full-time endeavor. GSS Fellows are immersed in 40+ hours a week devoted to the creation of their school model, designing and writing their charter application, and learning the skills that make a great school leader. Investing in this leadership and school development from the beginning yields an incredibly high return. For each school leader that GSS trains and supports, approximately 500 more students will receive an education that prepares them for success in college.
