The University of Denver has just launched a new MBA program, in partnership with Get Smart Schools, that is designed to train entrepreneurial educators to open and lead schools. Applicants who wish to be considered for Get Smart Schools' financial incentive package need to apply to both the Daniels school of business and to Get Smart Schools. The Get Smart Schools application can be downloaded here. Please email us with any questions. The Fellows program combines individual support with group learning and networking. Each Fellow has been approved to open a school in 2010. Fellows participate in half-day, bi-monthly professional development sessions from September through July. These sessions cover topics relevant to opening and building a successful school and provide opportunities for new school leaders to connect with and learn from one another in a structured environment. Get Smart Schools 2009 fellows are leading six schools, including: Math and Science Leadership Academy This year's cohort will open: A second Denver School of Science and Technology campus; Two new West Denver Preparatory School campuses: Federal and Harvey Park; Girls Athletic Leadership School; and a new film-centered school in Aurora
