The mission of Get Smart Schools is to stimulate and support the creation of new high performing schools serving low-income students in kindergarten through twelfth grade in the Front Range of Colorado.  Schools that are part of the GSS network will have demonstrated success in closing the achievement gap and a shared belief that all students can learn.  By strategically addressing the key barriers to new school creation, we intend to create an environment that will attract leading educational entrepreneurs from around the nation and stimulate innovative new thinking.
